you and us -
sri lanka. :) come!

Some of you know Tam, some of you know Nick, and many of you have been alongside us for both.

Our story began as a professional partnership, but it quickly grew into a lifelong friendship that we’re now turning into a forever commitment.

You are the lovely characters who have shaped our lives, and having you all in one place to witness our vows would make our story feel truly complete.

We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with you.

where to stay

The villa bentota can accommodate a limited number of people. We have spoken to a few adjacent hotels, in case we need additional accommodation. The sooner you RSVP, the sooner we can have all the arrangements sorted for you.

what to wear

Think of this evening as your excuse to have a little fun with fashion. The vibe is easy, colourful, and a touch playful - nothing too formal, nothing too serious… just outfits that make you feel good and ready to celebrate.

The easiest option are the prepaid taxis available at the arrivals, which takes about 1.5 hours. The hotel would also be able to organise transfers. The train from Colombo Fort to Bentota is also a great option — scenic, cheap, and runs regularly. A rikshaw (tuk-tuk) from the station to the villa is easy to find. We've put together everything else you need to know over on the travel & stay page.
Think colourful, easy, and a touch playful. Nothing too formal, nothing too casual, outfits that make you feel good and ready to celebrate. If you want a bit more direction (and some visual inspiration), the what to wear page has you covered.
The villa has limited rooms and we've blocked them for wedding guests. If you'd like to arrive early or stay on after the wedding, get in touch and we'll do our best to help arrange it. All the accommodation details are on the travel & stay page — worth a read before you book anything on your own.
Most nationalities require an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) to enter Sri Lanka, which can be applied for online before you travel. It's straightforward and takes a few minutes. We've noted this and a few other practical bits on the travel & stay page — have a look when you're planning your trip.
The local currency is Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR). Cards are accepted at most hotels and larger restaurants, but it's worth having some cash for Rikshaws (tuk-tuks) and tender coconuts, local markets, and smaller eateries. ATMs are available in Bentota town. And if you're planning to explore beyond Bentota, our honest guide to the area is all on the explore page — restaurants, activities, day trips and more.
